Call for Proposals: Music History and Theory Articles
We invite you to submit proposals for peer-reviewed articles on music history and music theory for
publication in the A-R Music Anthology
(https://www.armusicanthology.com)
Building on the 50+ peer-reviewed articles on music history and theory, we invite new ideas that support
the customized courses our instructors use in courses that include
music history surveys, courses on periods and style; repertoire courses (both historical and analytical);
seminars on specific styles, composers, genres, or other topics; and other areas that are relevant to twenty-first
century research in musicology and music theory.
Keep in mind the kinds of articles in ARMA, specifically surveys/overviews, genres & forms, music theory, significant composers; and major works, as well as the scores that are in ARMA. We look forward to your proposals for articles that you would use with your students and also share with your teaching colleagues.
Please contact James Zychowicz (James.Zychowicz@areditions.com) with questions and, most importantly, ideas!
